About

Data Architect focused on large-scale systems, real-time pipelines, and novel cloud infrastructure.

I design and build data platforms that support large-scale, real-time, and ephemeral workloads. My experience spans distributed object stores, disaggregated storage for compute frameworks, and high-throughput data processing pipelines in hybrid cloud environments.

I’ve created open-source systems for shuffle storage and ephemeral data handling, and contributed to performance evaluations of emerging runtime architectures. My responsibilities include owning data product strategy, supporting ML workloads, and ensuring scalability from proof-of-concept to production.

Earlier in my career, I led engineering efforts for interactive visualization tools, helped develop weather modeling software for HPC clusters, and ported embedded cryptographic libraries to constrained devices. Across roles, I’ve consistently worked at the intersection of performance, reliability, and innovation.

I hold an MSc in Computer Science from ETH Zürich and explore new systems design patterns through independent research.

You can find a selection of systems and tools I’ve developed on the projects page.
